OUR LOVE STORY
How we met
We first crossed paths in October 2015, when we were still at university — two students brought together by a mutual friend. What started as casual conversations soon turned into late-night chats, shared playlists, and laughter that felt effortless. By December, we found ourselves inseparable.
Music wove its way into our story early on. We formed a band together, spent weekends writing songs, and discovered how naturally we fit both on and off stage. After graduation, we stepped into the next chapter side by side — building a life, one day at a time.
Nearly a decade later, that same ease, laughter, and quiet understanding still guide us.
Our Little Joys
Not long after we began building our life together, we welcomed two furry companions into our home — Bear and Hunk. For the past seven years, they’ve filled our days with joy, mischief, and more love than we ever expected.
Whether it’s quiet evenings, long walks, or spontaneous road trips, the four of us have built a little world of our own. To us, Bear and Hunk aren’t just pets — they’re family, and their wagging tails have been part of every chapter of our story.
The proposal
After nearly nine years together, Dan quietly tucked away a ring, waiting for just the right moment. One evening, at home, with Bear and Hunk watching nearby, he asked the simplest question — one we both already knew the answer to.
Ava had felt it coming. All through that year, she held a quiet excitement, wondering if each birthday, holiday, or special day might be the day. And finally, it was. On October 10, 2024, a date we’ll always remember for its meaning of perfection and completeness (十全十美), the question was asked, and our forever officially began.
It was a quiet moment, without grand gestures or surprises — just the two of us, in the home we built, choosing to keep walking through life together.
